Editorial Board
Yuan-Pang Wang, Ph.D. earned his MD's degree from University of Sao Paulo Medical School in 1987. His M.Sc. (1995) and Ph.D. (2003) were from the Department of Psychiatry in the same institution. Since then he has served as research associate in the Section of Psychiatric Epidemiology (LIM-23) and has became a member of the International Federation of Psychiatric Epidemiology (IFPE) and World Psychiatric Association (WPA), section of Epidemiology and Public Health.  In 2014, he was awarded as New Voices in Global Health during the World Health Summit.  Currently, he is a collaborator member of the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Project.  Also, he is an advisor of the Common Measures in Mental Health Science Advisory Committee, affiliated to International Alliance of Mental Health Research Funders (IAMHRF). His editorial experience includes Associate Editor for BMC Public Health, BMC Psychiatry, Frontiers in Psychiatry, World Journal of Psychiatry and Brazilian Journal of Psychiatry. His research interest includes psychiatric epidemiology, non-communicable diseases (obesity), global health, validation of psychometric instruments, systematic review, and applied multivariate latent methods to health models.
