Dr. Tajudeen Yahaya holds a PhD degree in Cell Biology and Genetics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. His areas of interest are genetics, epigenetics, toxicology, and environmental etiologies of complex diseases such as diabetes mellitus, infertility, etc. He is a proactive lecturer and researcher with over 10 years of experience teaching courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He authored two books, of which one was on the genetic, molecular, and environmental risk factors of diabetes mellitus and the second was on pollutant exposure management using food plants. He has published over 70 articles in reputable peer reviewed journals, some of which are indexed or abstracted in PubMed, Scopus, SpringerLink, Google Scholar, Zenodo, EBSCO, Crossref, Semantic Scholars, and Web of Science, among others.
