Brief Biography of Prof. Bedeir Ali-El-Dein   I am Prof. Bedeir Ali-El-Dein, MsD, MD (=Ph.D.). I am graduated and have received my Master Degree and Medical Doctorate Degree (=PhD) from Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt. I am working at Urology and Nephrology Center, Mansoura University from 1991 till now. I conducted a lot of postdoctoral studies at Mansoura Urology and Nephrology Center. I am the head of Renal Transplant Program at Mansoura Urology and Nephrology Center. I got many awards and prizes (30) including: two State Awards, best abstracts (multiple times during the American Urological Association and European Association of Urology), best research in urologic radiology (EAU 2017) and others. I have been the principal investigator of 3 funded research projects and co-investigator of 3 others. To this date, I have authored 2 theses, 95 full research papers, 4 chapters in books, and 220 abstracts presented at conferences and meetings. I have worked as Editorial Board Member in: Associate Editor, Egyptian Journal of Urology since Jan 2012. Editorial Board Member of the journal "Recent Patents on Medical Imaging" since May 2009.  Editorial Board Member of the journal “Mansoura Medical Journal” since July 2008. Advisory Board Member of the Egyptian Journal of Medical Education (EJME). Editorial Board Member of the journal “ISRN Surgery” which is one the International Scholarly Research Network series of journals. This is since December 2010. Editorial Board Member of World Journal of Clinical Urology (WJCU), since July 2011. Editorial Board Member of OJOTS (Open Journal of Organ Transplant Surgery). Associate editor of the Egyptian Journal of Urology, since Jan 2012. Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Case Reports in Medicine (IBIMA) since Jan 2013. Editorial Board Member of American Journal of Urology since June 2013. I have reviewed around 200 papers submitted to international journals, supervised 24 scientific theses and discussed 5 theses. I have been a member of 9 scientific associations and societies.   Research Interest My major research interests are renal transplant surgeries, pre- and post-renal transplant surgeries and complications and urologic oncology, especially in the topics of NMIBC, BCG intravesical and female orthotopic diversion. I addition, I am interested in researches on reconstructive urology and treatment of complex ureteric strictures.
