Dr. Stefano Nobile, MD PhD, is a neonatologist at a level IV unit based at Salesi Children’s Hospital, Ancona (Italy). Dr. Nobile received his medical degree from the University of Bologna (Italy) in 2003 and his PhD from the University of Bologna (Italy) in 2012. He did his residency in Paediatrics at Salesi Children’s Hospital, Polytechnic University of Marche (Italy) and a visiting research fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard University (US). He is currently evaluating the relationship between gastro-oesophageal reflux and pulmonary conditions, the optimal threshold and route of administration of surfactant therapy, the application of novel technologies to neonatal care.
