Dr. Simona Gatti is a consultant in pediatrics with a special interest in pediatric gastroenterology at G. Salesi Children Hospital, Ancona Italy. She graduated in Medicine at Politechnic University of Marche, Ancona Italy and completed her Residency program in Pediatrics at the same University. She completed her training in pediatric gastroenterology at Addenbrooke's Hospital (Cambridge, UK) and Sheffield Children's Hospital (Sheffield, UK), She completed her PhD in  2016 with a project on "Changes of Microbiota in pediatric patients with IBD following an exclusive enteral nutrition". Her researches are mainly focused on pediatric gastrointestinal diseases (IBD and celiac disease) and artificial nutriiton. She is co-author of several pubblications in this field and involved in many pediatric trials.
