Prof. Jie-Xiong Feng is the Director of the Department of Pediatric Surgery and vice Dean of the Department of Surgery of Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). He is also the Professor, Principle investigator and Doctoral Tutor of Pediatric Surgery of HUST. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Journal of Pediatric Surgery, the Chief Editor of Postgraduate Textbook of Pediatric Surgery (2nd and 3rd editions), and the Chief Editor of Hirschsprung’s Disease and its Allied Disorders (Chinese, 1st and 2nd editions). Prof. Feng is currently the Chairman of Committee of International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, and vice Chairman of Committee of The Chinese Society of Pediatric Surgery and Chinese Medical Doctor Association of Pediatric Surgery. He is the Program Director of Clinical Research Center of Hirschsprung’s Disease and its Allied Disorders, and the Director of Quality Control of Pediatric Surgery of Hubei Province. In the past 20 years, Prof. Feng has been continually funded by grants from the National Nature Science Foundation of China. He has published over 200 scientific papers, and received academic awards of the Prize for Progress in Science and Technology of Hubei Province and Qingling Song’s Pediatric Medical Award.
