Dr. Wang, who lives in Taiwan , graduated from National Taiwan University medical school in 1994. After two years of military service, he continued to pursue his career while doing his residency at the National Taiwan University Hospital from 1996-2000. With hard work and determination, Dr. Wang has become an attending staff of the Department of Ophthalmology at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital in Taipei with a sub-specialty in vitreoretinal surgery and diseases. Dr. Wang took to teaching to pass on his knowledge and experience. He works at various institutes of higher learning which are all located in Taipei. He is currently an assistant professor of the Department of Medicine at National Yang Ming University. He is also an assistant professor for the Department of Healthcare Administration and Department of Nursing at the Oriental Institute of Technology. And finally, he holds a clinical teacher position at the Department of Medicine at the National Taiwan University. Dr. Wang is a member of editorial board in various international ophthalmological journals, including World Journal of Ophthalmology, Clinical Journal of Ophthalmology, Journal of Clinical Research and Ophthalmology, International Journal of Ophthalmic Research, and International Journal of Ophthalmology & Eye Science. He is also a reviewer for different renowned ophthalmological journals, such as American Journal of Ophthalmology, Acta Ophthalmologica, and Journal of Refractive Surgery. His scientific articles were published in international and domestic ophthalmological journals. He also had frequent presentations in the international Ophthalmological meetings. As a special interest, Dr. Wang studies advance vitreous-retinal surgery, vitreoretinal pharmacotherapy, and modern phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation.
