Dr. Zhang joined in Tianjin Medical University Eye Hospital after she graduated from Tianjin Medical University and received her PhD in 2004. She has been directing her time and efforts to lead the Uveitis & Ocular Immunology Department. She is also the deputy director of Tianjin Medical University Eye Institute. Besides clinical service, she leads a research team of ocular immunology and stem cell therapy. Dr Zhang’s research interests are mainly in developing new therapy for refractory ocular immunological diseases and stem cell based therapy for ocular diseases.
