Katarzyna Hojan MD, PhD, and she has been a PRM specialist since 2006. Dr. Hojan received PhD in 2011 at the University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland. The title of her PhD thesis was “Impact of physical exercises on bone strength, body composition and quality of life in premenopausal breast cancer women undergoing hormonal therapy”. She has been working as the Head in the Department of Cancer Rehabilitation in the Greater Poland Cancer Centre in Poznan for 9 years. Since 2012, she has been the Head of the Neurorehabilitation Ward at Bonifratres Marysiniensis in Piaski, Poland. Her main research goal is comprehensive rehabilitation in the field of oncology and neurology. About 40 of her research papers have been published (e.g. in Acta Oncologica, European Journal of Physical Rehabilitation Medicine, Cancer Nursing, Archives of Medical Sciences, etc), she also wrote 4 books chapters. Dr. Hojan is an active member of the Polish Rehabilitation Society (PTReh), the Polish Society for Neurological Rehabilitation (PTRehN), the European Federation of Research in Rehabilitation (EFRR) and European Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ESPRM).
