Associate Professor Dr Nur Azlina Mohd Fahami is the head of the Stress Enzyme research group in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.  She graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from UPM and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from UKM.  Nur Azlina has been actively involved in research and teaching in Pharmacology. Over the last 16 years, she had focused her scientific interest on topics related to peptic ulcer diseases and natural products with particular interest in palm vitamin E. Her research interest includes peptic ulcer disease, metabolic syndrome, obesity and intervention with vitamin E and natural products. With expertise in animal model of gastric ulcers, interventional therapy with natural products and antioxidants, she had published more than 30 articles in world-renowned scientific journals; a book chapter published by Springer Link, achieved a h-index of 10 and had lead many high impact researches. She is the member of UKM Animal Ethics Committee and had been involved in undergraduates and post-graduates training, as well as external examiner for post-graduates candidates.
