Dr. Stergios Vradelis is Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Democritus University of Thrace. He is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with clinical and research focus on the management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients. He worked at a reputable teaching university hospital (The John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford), under the supervision of Dr Simon Travis. The John Radcliffe Hospital is a tertiary referral centre and treats a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal diseases, however, his working in such close proximity to Dr S.Travis has offered him the opportunity to receive further specialization in IBD from an expert in the field. He is working on the discovery of biomarkers for disease behaviour and response to therapy.
