Dr. Mahmood S Choudhery is a tenured Associate Professor, currently working at the Department of Human Genetics and Molecular Biology, University of Health Sciences, Lahore. Previosly, Dr Mahmood worked in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Laboratory, Department of Biomedical Sciences at King Edward Medical University. He received his BSc (Hons) from Punjab University and worked for his PhD at the National Center of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), the Punjab University, and the University of Arizona, USA. He continued his research on stem cells at the University of Arizona in  Dr.  Harris Laboratory at the University of Arizona, USA. At King Edward Medical University, along with teaching, Dr. Choudhery researches stem cell-based regenerative therapies. Dr. Choudhery has served as an editorial board member of several international journals of high repute and has published his research work in many leading journals of his field.
