Manuel Aureliano is Associate Professor (with Habilitation) of Biochemistry and he was Director (1998-2013) of the Biochemistry degree at the University of Algarve, Faro, Portugal. Besides Biochemistry, he teaches disciplines related to Metallomics and Muscle Contraction. Till now, he was supervisor and/or co-supervisor of several post-doc, PhD, MSc and undergraduate students (over 110), and has published about 90 peer-reviewed journal articles, reviews and book chapters. Actually, is a TOP 1% reviewer for Publons and a TOP10 reviewer in Metallomics. He was the editor of the book “Vanadium Biochemistry”, ResearchSignPost, 2007, Kerala, India.
