Jian-Xun Ding, Ph.D., Professor. 2003.09−2007.07, he studied for B.S. in University of Science and Technology of China; 2007.09−2012.12, he enrolled in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and received his Ph.D. in January 2013. His research focuses on (i) synthesis of functional biodegradable polymers, (ii) exploitation of stimuli-responsive polymer nanocarriers for controlled drug delivery, (iii) preparation of polymer nanoparticles as adjuvants of immunotherapy, and (iv) development of polymer scaffold-based regenerative medicine. He was invited to serve as Editorial Board Member of Molecules, Current Pharmaceutical Design, Neural Regeneration Research, Medicine, Current Applied Polymer Science, Heliyon, and Sci, as the Youth Editorial Board Member of Journal of Functional Polymers, and as the Guest Editors of Current Pharmaceutical Design, Current Medicinal Chemistry, Current Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Frontiers in Pharmacology, Molecules, Polymers, Journal of Nanomaterials, and International Journal of Polymer Science. He has published more than 160 pre-reviewed research papers in international academic journals including Advanced Materials, Nano Letters, ACS Nano, Nature Communications, Advanced Sciences, Biomaterials, Journal of Controlled Release, and so on. The publications have been cited more than 4000 times, and his h-index is 38. He has applied over 70 Chinese invention patents, of which more than 50 ones were authorized. Among them, one was awarded as First Prize of Jilin Province Invention Contest (ranked second), and the other one was rated as Excellence Award of Chinese Patent Award (ranked second). Based on the research accomplishments, he was honored more than 10 awards including Natural Science Award of Jilin Province, Science and Technology Progress Award of Jilin Province, Natural Science Academic Achievement Award of Jilin Province, and so forth. In 2015, it was selected as the Fifth Batch Outstanding Innovative Talents of Jilin Province. In 2018, he was supported by the Jilin Province Young Talents Lifting Project of Jilin Province. Based on the above research fields, he has undertaken more than 10 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Science and Technology Development Program of Jilin Province.
