Dr. Coskun is an Associate Professor in General Surgery. For nearly 20 years, I have been training the General Surgery assistants at Izmir Bozyaka Training and Research Hospital. I believe that the transfer of experience to the young generation receiving the General Surgery Training is as important as the transfer of emerging knowledge and methods. I received my MD degree from Ege University Medical School (Izmir) in  1979. I completed my General Surgery Training at Izmir Training and Research Hospital in 1986.  I have been promoted Associate Professor in March 2017.  My areas of interest are colorectal surgery and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery. I have participated in many courses and certificate programs. I am also a reviewer and member of the editorial board for several scientific journals.
