Model 1: Unadjusted. Model 2: Adjusted for age, gender, diabetes mellitus, corticosteroid therapy, and hypertension. Model 3: Adjusted for Model 2 and acute liver failure, acute kidney failure, white blood cell count, C-reactive protein, prognostic nutritional index, and blood lipids.
