Dr. Jayaprakash Sahoo is currently working as an associate professor in the department of endocrinology in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry, India. He has experience of eight years as a faculty in a medical college. He has published 65 peer reviewed publications and has written four book chapters. He is part of various programs in the institute like bariatric surgery, liver transplantation and quality council. He is interested in investigating islet cell function in both diabetes and pre-diabetes subjects.
