Yan-Kai Xia, PhD, Professor of School of Public Health, Dean of Graduate School of Nanjing Medical University, and Deputy Director of International Joint Research Center for Environment and Human Health. His research interests are in environment and reproductive health, particularly endocrine and metabolic diseases. In recent years, he has presided over more than ten national projects the China-U.S. Program for Biomedical Collaborative Research (NSFC-NIH), NSFC Key Projects, NSFC for Outstanding Young Scholars, National Key Research and Development Program Projects, New Century Outstanding Talents of the Ministry of Education, etc.; published more than 200 papers in authoritative journals in the field with H-index 40; obtained 9 national invention patents; awarded second prize of national scientific and technological progress, etc. He is the director and member of several domestic and foreign societies, as well as the editorial board of several journals.
