I was born in Aichi, Japan in 1971. I graduated from the Keio University School of Medicine in 1997. And I worked as a resident of internal medicine in Keio University Hospital from Apr. 1997 to Mar. 1998. I received Ph.D. in 2004. I became an assistant of the Department of gastroenterology at Keio University School of Medicine in 2007. I was promoted to Assistant Professor at Center for Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy, School of Medicine Keio university in 2015. I have been engaged in the endoscopy and clinical study of endoscopy. I have focused my scientific interests on enteroscopy and video capsule endoscopy.
