I’m a distinguished Associate Professor in the Tokyo Dental College, Ichikawa General Hospital, Japan. Having received my MD degree from Kyorin University School of Medicine in 1999, I undertook my postgraduate training at the Kyorin University School of Medicine. I received my PhD degree in 2014 under instruction of Professor Shin-ichi Takahashi at Kyorin University School of Medicine. I moved to St. Luke’s International Hospital in 2012, and I was promoted to chief of staff, division of endoscopy, department of gastroenterology in 2017 and Associate Professor of Research Center in 2017. My ongoing interests are endoscopic diagnosis and treatment (particularly endoscopic ultrasound), biliary-pancreatic diseases and esophagogastric varices. I’m a board-certified specialist and a councilor of many academic societies in Japan. I have published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles. Currently, I’m Associate Professor of Gastroenterology, Tokyo Dental College, Ichikawa General Hospital from 2019.
