Satoshi Osawa received M.D. in 1993 and Ph.D. in 2006 from Hamamatsu University School of Medicine, Japan. In 2012, He was nominated an assistant general manager of Department of Endoscopic and Photodynamic Medicine, Hamamatsu University School of Medicine. He has focused his scientific interests on treatment of esophageal cancer, intestinal mucosal immunity, and endoscopic diagnosis and therapy for gastrointesinal diseases. He has published several peer-reviewed articles along with research. He is a member of Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, Japanese Society of Gastroenterology, Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society, Physiological Society of Japan, Japanese Society of Medical Oncology, Japanese Gastroenterological Association, Japan Esophageal Society, Japanese Association for Capsule Endoscopy, and Japanese Society of Mucosal Immunology.
