Prof. Jeong Heo, Professor of Internal Medicine, Pusan National University School of Medicine. Jeong Heo, M.D., Ph.D., is Director of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Pusan National University Hospital. He is a medical doctor and scientist, having received his medicinae doctor and doctoral (Internal Medicine) degrees from Pusan National University School of Medicine in Pusan, Republic of Korea. During his career, Prof. Heo held a number of academic positions, university and hospital appointments as well as principal investigator in many clinical trials for Phase I-IV of hepatitis B, C and hepatocellular carcinoma. He has also received research grants from the Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. Prof. Heo has published more than 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts.
