Nermine Ehsan has been graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Egypt. She Had MSc and PhD from McGill University, Canada. Spend a one year Honorary Research fellow at the Liver Institute of hepatology, UCL, London, UK. Appointed as a Lecturer of Pathology at National Liver Institute, Menoufia University, Egypt on 1996. Promoted to Professor of Pathology on 2009, hired as Head of Pathology Department on 2012 onwards. Served as a member on the Supreme Council of Egyptian for promoting professors (2019-2022). Member of the Institute Research Ethics Review Board (2020-2023). Main research interest: Pediatric liver pathology: biliary atresia, metabolic storage diseases, autoimmune hepatitis. Fibrosis progression and regression in HCV patients Hepatocellular carcinoma biology, pathophysiology, prognostic markers Research on living donor liver transplantation.
