Professor Yun-Bae Kim had got PhD degree at College of Veterinary Medicine of Seoul National University, Korea, in 1996. He has been teaching students at Department of Toxicology, College of Veterinary Medicine, Chungbuk National University, Korea, since 2002. Dr. Kim has studied on the neurotoxicopathology of chemicals and neurodegenerative diseases as well as brain aging, and published 327 research papers. Especially, his recent research has been focusing on stem cells encoding functional genes for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer disease and senescence, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Lou Gehrig disease, Stroke, Parkinson disease, etc, since he successfully developed neural stem cells effective for Alzheimer dementia as a visiting professor at University of British Columbia, Canada, in 2011. Professor Kim has served as Editor-in-Chief of Laboratory Animal Research for 10 years, and is working as a CEO of Designed Cells Co., Ltd. to develop stem cells for Alzheimer disease therapy.
