With a medical degree in Indonesia, upon in her gastroenterology and hepatology consultant in 2007 at University of Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, Neneng Ratnasari was nominated as Internal Medicine staff at Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University, where she initiated a clinical of gastroenterology and hepatology. Over the last 6 years, she has focused her scientific interests on the topics related to liver and gastroenterology diseases including acute viral hepatitis, chronic liver diseases, liver cancer, dyspepsia, inflammatory bowel disease, and colorectal cancer. With her expertise in clinical and gastroenterology-hepatology field research, she has established a series of platforms for clinical evaluation of diagnostics/therapeutics, performed biopsy method for noninvasive of liver tumors using ultrasound, teach tens of postgraduate students including internal medicine students and gastroenterology and hepatology consultant students, trained endoscopy nurses and endoscopy doctors, teach medical students, and advised PhD students. She published numerous journal papers and free papers for many national and international academic journals and conferences, worked as a associate professor in many national universities, participated in several national projects, and received many travel grand including APASL grand (Beijing, 2010) and Asia Pacific Helicobacter Pylori meeting grand (Malaysia, 2012). Innovative, translational and longstanding research has ever been a pursuit in her academic career.
