Marcos V. Perini, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne and HPB and Liver Transplant Surgeon at Austin Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Perini has dedicated most of his work in liver transplantation, liver resection for metastatic colorectal cancer, primary liver tumours and liver surgery techniques. Apart from his clinical work he is also engaged in experimental model of colorectal cancer metastases, translational research and surgical education. He owns a Masters in Science, a PhD and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). He is also an active member of the IHPBA and the AP-HPBA.
